Extract from "The Big Gig -The Evening Echo Paper Cork

Cork singer/songwriter Michael Babington plays a showcase gig at the Blarney Park Hotel this Sunday night 28th January. Michael's latest CD, These Days, has achieved tremendous success, selling out four times alone in Virgin Mega Stores. It reached the Top 100 Irish Charts and the Top 50 Virgin Chart.
Recorded at Michael's studio at his home and the Engine Room at Pulse Recording Studios Dublin, The five track EP includes some of Michael's best ,material. The singles Deeper and These Days which was recorded in Whelans of Dublin, were played by independent radio stations around the country. Michael has been kept busy over the past two years with shows at the Triskel Arts Centre, The Summer season at the Blarney Park Hotel and live work on 96FM's Green Room.
